Generator Industry
Within our own rental fleet we hold a selection of Auto Mains Failure (AMF) panels to allow clients a facility for emergency electrical supply back up from a generator in case of a failure. More and more generator hire and retail companies have found a requirement to issue these units with their own equipment. This required ide Systems to develop a solution for a smaller more cost effective AMF just for this purpose.
After a great deal of deliberating with respected suppliers we found the perfect combination of Electrical Contactors, Automatic Changeovers and suitable enclosures, while information from our clients allowed us to encompass their requirements. Making the unit with as small a footprint as possible enabling it to be mounted on a wall, generator set or within a crash frame and keeping the automatic transfer of electrical supply with the important generator auto start we had neared the perfect product. Through design we were able to develop the most efficient layout with addition of a basic full system test switch before our manufacturing team constructed a ream of different rated sample units to demonstrate to our clients.
ide Systems now currently offer a great variety of cost effective Auto Transfer Switches (ATS) to supply all clients within the electrical distribution industry.
